Resistance to Alkalis and Acids: the color will not be affected if exposed to natural environmental concerns like acid rain or from chemicals sprayed in outdoor environments UV Stabalizers If we succeed in developing a fade resistant color, we must also succeed in developing a sustainable plastic. If the plastic does not weather well and falls apart, the color retention is of no value. UV stabilization and color retention are equally important and mutually inclusive. The UV stabilizers used in the manufacturing of our ULAND have been carefully selected and compounded by a team of chemists to provide the necessary sustainability to our plants in outdoor environments. Commercial Grade Resin Much like color pigment and UV stabilizers there are a number of grades of resins. Many of the resins used in artificial plants are made from recycled plastic. While the concept of recycling plastic is noble, it is not suitable for outdoor use.
