Read more Qdos Extending SafeGate Features Perfect Top of Stair Gate The Extending SafeGate is perfect for use at the top of the stairs and anywhere else. No trip hazard is created, unlike pressure mount gates that have a bottom bar, the Extending SafeGate opens to the full width of your opening. The Qdos Extending SafeGate comes complete with a one way stop that can be inserted so that the gate can only open in one direction. The One-Way Stop function should be used to prevent the gate from swinging out over stairs or in any other location where you need to control the opening direction. Flexible Installation Sometimes it doesn’t work to mount a gate perfectly perpendicular in an opening. The Extending SafeGate allows you to mount at an angle up to 180 degrees which greatly increases the number of installation options you have, including mounting the gate in front of an opening. Easily adjusts to fit any opening between 25.6" and 41” without the need for any additional parts or pieces. Easy to Install A plastic installation template (NOT a cheap paper one), is included with the Extending SafeGate, which acts as a guide to show you exactly where screws need to be placed without the need to measure. The included magnetic level helps you keep the gate perfectly positioned during installation. Also included with the Extending SafeGate is a marker tool attached to the level. It couldn’t be simpler and faster! One-Handed Use & Sturdy Construction Parents will be glad to know that the Extending SafeGate can easily be unlocked and relocked with the use of just one hand. The Extending SafeGate offers great reliability. Made with steel and engineered to fit in many different openings including top of stairs, in a hallway or blocking off the entrance to a potentially dangerous room. The strong and sturdy Qdos Extending SafeGate meets the very tough requirements of the European Safety Standards as well as the US and Canadian Safety Standards.
