??Tired of your mailbox post getting repeatedly destroyed by snow pushed by snowplows? You don't need an ugly teepee over your mailbox or a unpleasant looking wood fence to protect it. Sno-flex is well-built with heavy duty cables and hardware and installs in 15 minutes. It will absorb the energy of blown snow. A stiff post has no chance and will bend or even shatters. Replacing a broken post in cold and snow is not enjoyable. ?? US Patent 10,098,490. Canadian Patent 2,994,458. Proudly made and assembled in the USA! ?? IMPORTANT PLEASE FOLLOW INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. Install device as high at the top of post, install all 5 cables provided, and finish project by installing a standard PLASTIC MAILBOX and its mounting board. Plastic mailboxes are strong, light, inexpensive, won't rust or dent. No other accessories. The intent is to preserve post. In cases where device is bent and damaged is because it was installed in middle or at base of post with heavy metal mailbox which created tremendous weight in addition to plowed snow. Unfortunately were unsuccessful in connecting to correct those cases ?? For 4x4 wooden posts. Hollow plastic 4x4 posts will require blocking. It is not suited for All-In-One Mailbox & Post Combo. NOTE TO INSTALLERS (Typo Correction in Installation Instructions): Please use 3/16" drill bit for pilot holes.
