Chicken Scraps Bucket The Story Behind the Chicken Scraps Bucket My chickens love eating table scraps and I loved my relaxing trip out to them each day and hearing their excited praise at the end of my day. I would gather my scraps during the day, after each meal scraping every plate into an ice cream bucket or a small Menards bright green bucket. For convenience, the bucket usually sat out on my countertop all day long. I would make the trip to the chicken coop in the early evening after supper as part of my winding down routine. New Kitchen While designing my new kitchen remodel project, I realized that my kitchen was going to be too pretty to have an ugly bucket sitting out.
