The axe head is built to also produce maximum chopping force & is made from hardened C45 carbon steel that is dropforged, cooled in oil bath, & then heat treated making it super tough, tested to 53-56 hrs (Rockwell). the entire configuration is well balanced to make sure that you are in control as you produce triple chopping force on each swing.
