The Workforce 48" Half Moon Edger is a great, multipurpose tool for the home gardener. Easily remove weeds, grass and other growth along driveways, sidewalks and other areas that need a clean, crisp border to nature. The fiberglass handle is extra stiff to prevent snapping, splintering and warping yet light enough to not weigh you down as you work around your yard or garden. At the top of the 48 inch handle is a premium molded D-Grip. This D-Grip provides excellent control and comfort when edging. It's contoured to easily accommodate hands in single or double grip formation and provides and excellent way to drive into tougher materials. The business end of the edger is the heavy-gauge powder coated steel head. Measuring 9" wide by 4.5" deep, this round point edger easily rolls through crab grass, dirt, weeds and most any other yard growth. The rugged construction of the entire edger is resistant to warping, cracking splintering and rusting for strength and durability that will last.
