Description:
The TTC-1223V is a heavy-duty rear coil with a variable rate that sits at stock ride height. Use: Rear Application. This is a good application for trucks that are empty most and then having to carry a heavy load at times. The variable coil allows for a softer ride when empty. This is not a good coil for towing purposes. The reason being that the first 2 inches are the same as the OEM, but then the second rate kicks in for more weight bearing capacity. So, when used for towing , the back end would drop two inches before the second stage started to work. Made for moderate hauling in the 4th gen and can be used in the 2019 5th gen for hauling RV. Spring Rate: 280 lbs./inch. Vehicle Model/s: Ram 1500, 4th generation and 5th generation, 2WD and 4WD, 2009-2021. NOTE: Not made for REBEL models or RAM’s with the off-road suspension package. If you have a Ram 1500, 2019 and newer model - then you might need to buy additional isolators. These isolators are intended for the DT new body style trucks. These Ram 1500 isolators are available at your local Dodge/Ram dealership.
