Tesla Model 3 Frunk Hook Installation Instructions 1. Remove existing 10mm bolt in frunk with a ratchet and socket with a short extension. Same bolt will be reused for installation. 2. Frunk hooks are not interchangeable between driver/passenger side and will specifically only install on one side aligning with contour of frunk. 3. Extend hook to ""open"" position and put removed bolt through hole in clip to help align for installation. Be careful not to overextend the hinge in the open direction. 4. With hook in ""open"" position, the bolt should be easily accessible with your ratchet/extension for installation into existing hole in frunk. Bolt should be snug but doesn't need to be overly tight for any reason. 5. Test the new frunk hook open and closed to ensure that it moves without interference. If there's any problem with alignment, the rectangular opening in the bottom of the frunk hook can be trimmed slightly with a utility knife to allow a little movement of the entire hook assembly. This shouldn't be needed, as the the hooks have been tested on several cars without issue.
