SHELL WASHABLE RUG: Shell is a better machine washable area rug — better feeling, better looking, better priced, and better for the environment. The solid-color rug has geometric line drawings in relief, like ancient ammonite fossils. The bone beige tone-on-tone effect is inspired by the accidental designs of beach tides: the smoothness of seashells eroded over time, imprints left by waves on sand, the organic textures of corals and rocks. And this washable area rug isn’t a mat – it is thick and soft, with ½ inch pile cushioning every step. A grippy, non-slip base holds the rug safely in position and the lightness and foldability make cleaning easy – just place the rug in the washing machine with like colors on delicate with 1 TBSP of gentle detergent, and line dry afterwards or tumble dry on no heat or low heat setting. For sizes 5' x 8' and above, we recommend using a 60-lb laundromat washing machine or dry cleaning.
