Muslin can be used as a lightweight swaddle blanket perfect for those hot summer naps. It is also used as lightweight curtain dust ruffles and more. Muslin make an inexpensive and attractive shabby-chic gift wrap alternative. When sewing clothing, a dressmaker may test the fit of a garment, using an inexpensive muslin fabric before cutting the intended expensive fabric, thereby avoiding potential costly mistakes. Natural unbleached muslin is a medium weight natural cotton fabric that is 100% cotton and 63" wide. This fabric has a smooth finish, with a soft touch.
