It is heat-safe even at high temperatures of up to 500°F. Our pan is coated all over with super-smooth enamel, which seals the cast iron to keep foods from sticking and crusting. The wide stainless steel knob on its cast iron lid provides a secure grip and has a perfect seal fit. This avoids spillovers and locks in moisture and nutrition when cooking.
