Mityvac MV4530 Cooling System Pressure Test Kit quickly reveals external cooling system leaks, and detects internal leaks caused by a blown head gasket or cracked block or head. The kit comes complete with a high-quality pressure pump and four adapters for connecting to the cooling systems of most U.S. and Asian manufactured cars and light trucks. (Visitto view a complete updated make/model/year application guide). The adapters are custom- designed to form an airtight seal with the radiator or coolant bottle. The hex-shaped shield protects the connector and accepts wrench to loosen over- tightened adapters. The adapters are designed with a comfortable molded shape and knurled surface that ensures a positive non-slip grip. The pressure pump comes with a high-quality gauge with the pressure test ranges printed directly on the gauge face (0 - 30 PSI and 0 - 200 kPa). The gauge is protected by a rubber boot. The pump's machined aluminum body ensures durability, longevity and ability to use in harsh shop conditions. In addition, the pumps large- volume capacity reduces time and strokes required to pressurize the cooling system. This kit is ideal for pressure testing for leaks in automotive cooling systems as well as for cooling system cap pressure testing (additional adapters are required and can be purchased separately).
