Seachrome’s Hermosa Back Wall-Mount Folding Tub Seat delivers safety, style, and peace of mind by providing a safe place to sit while bathing. Installing a bathtub seat provides security and allows elderly and physically disabled to remain independent in the privacy of their bathroom. This wall-mount folding seat extends completely across a tub functioning as a bench and measures 32" L x 13.5" W, making it suitable for use with most standard-size bathtubs. It fits best with Alcove bathtubs that have flat bathtub dam surfaces and is not recommended for free-standing tubs. A sturdy 304 stainless steel frame and wide seat surface supports up to 250 pounds while satisfying all ADA code requirements when properly installed. The seat easily folds up and is automatically held in a raised position 3” against the wall by a stainless- steel friction hinge bracket. The friction hinge bracket is engineered to provide a smooth consistent resistance when raising and lowering the seat. The tub seat is crafted from durable, water-resistant ½” thick white phenolic 3-inch slats to provide excellent drainage and easy cleaning, making it ideal for long-lasting use. The tub frame is lined with rubber to provide protection when contacting tub surfaces.
