The ClumpLock technology in this litter locks in liquid and odor on contact to form tight clumps and make scooping quick and easy. Paw-activated fragrance is released each time your cats use the litter box, providing odor control as needed without being overpowering. Fresh Step MultiCat with Febreze Fresh Clumping for cats has a low dust formula that is designed for cleaner surfaces and clearer air. To refresh and maintain your litter box, each time you take it out simply add more fresh kitty litter. Directions: For best results, do not mix with non-clumping kitty litter. For first use, start with a clean, empty cat litter box. Fill with 3 to 4 inches of Fresh Step cat litter. Scoop up clumps and solids daily and dispose of in trash. Do not rinse. The rest of the sand is kept cool. Add more fresh cat litter to freshen up your litter box every time you litter. Keep the litter level 3 to 4 inches. Warnings: As a reminder, especially for pregnant women and immunosuppressed people, cat feces can sometimes transmit a disease called toxoplasmosis.
