PACKAGE CONTENTS - 1x fireplace cover, size 39 inches by 32 inches - 4x rolls (at least 20 feet) of hook-and-loop Velcro strip with adhesive on both sides, 2” width ON FIRST USE To flatten the fireplace blanket, hang it up (such as on a clothes hanger) for up to 24 hours. You may use a hair dryer on the hot setting to speed up the process. However, if doing so, be careful not to burn the fireplace cover. Keep the hair dryer moving constantly and avoid heating up one spot of the blanket for too long. REGULAR USE Make sure to put out the fire in your fireplace before putting up the fire place cover. The fireplace draft blocker is not designed to withstand the heat of a direct flame. INSTALLATION OPTIONS - Applying the hook-and-loop Velcro along the entire border of the fireplace blanket will provide the best draft blocking and insulation. Doing so will reduce the usable area of the fireplace cover to 34” by 27”. - We do not recommend applying the hook-and-loop Velcro adhesive directly on your fireplace frame, as the heat from the fireplace may melt off the adhesive.
