Read more Key Features of Using Your Dehumidifier Ergonomic Drain Bucket If running continuously, the drain bucket will need to be drained about every five (5) hours. You won't spill a drop of water when emptying the bucket thanks to the swivel handle and spill-resistant baffles of the drain bucket. If you are tired of draining the bucket manually we recommend you use a drain hose for continuous drainage. Using the Drain Hose If emptying drain buckets is not your thing, you can connect the included hose to your unit to utilize the internal pump drainage mode. Water will still collect in the drain bucket, but once you activate the pump mode, this water will be pumped out as the bucket approaches maximum capacity. Cleaning the Filter The filter on your unit will need to be cleaned every 250 hours for clean and healthy operation. The filter light on the display screen will illuminate reminding you it is time for cleaning. You can use warm water and a mild detergent to clean your filter, but make sure the filter is completely dry before reinstalling. Power Outage Restart In the event of a power outage your unit will resume operation once full power is restored to your home. The dehumidifier will revert to the same settings that were running before the unit lost power, so you don't need to change a thing. No worries!
