Our cans are made of durable HDPE and feature vapour barrier technology built into the container walls. Midwest Can's 5 Gallon fuel containers are designed with a wide base and lower center of gravity to reduce the chance of containers tipping over during use or storage. The included Flame Shield Safety System is comprised of two critical elements - Our vapour locking Quick-Flow Spout and special internal flame mitigation device. This two-piece system provides a “double layer of protection” from accidental fires that can result when improperly handling and storing gasoline and other flammable liquids.
