Strong and reliable ratchet gear system holds arms securely for safe bike storage. Secure ‘push button’ mechanisms ensure hanger beam and arms are locked in place. Supplied with ultra-strong elasticated rope to loop around the front wheel and bike frame to prevent front wheel knocking against a wall. IMPORTANT: Please measure your potential bike storage set-up prior to purchase to ensure you have enough space and the style of storage set-up is compatible with your needs. ADJUSTABLE & PRACTICAL Highly adjustable arms and hanger beam allow for different bike frame geometry, bike sizes and handlebar widths (up to 31 inches / 78 cm) so a bike can be stored and displayed in a horizontal position for convenient and safe storage. Arm cradles made from soft rubber material for scratch and scuff free storage. Cradles feature innovative ‘spacing channel’ ensuring top tube cables are not crushed or displaced. IMPORTANT: for certain types of recreational or commuter bikes - women's, ‘Dutch’ (European) or kids - which do NOT have a ‘horizontal’ or ‘straight’ top tube, you will need to use a top tube / cross bar adapter (adapter not included with hanger. Hanger is compatible with standard US ‘2 x 4’ (or '2 x '6) wooden stud (1.5” wide x 3.5” deep). Depending on your specific stud wall set-up, a wooden mounting board might be required for extra support (extra mounting board not included). Mounting board should be installed first onto plasterboard wall and then the hanger onto the mounting board.
