This is an operable window guard designed for interior use only; to assist in preventing children from accidental falls through open windows. All operable window guards are equipped with a quick-release feature for fast window guard removal in emergencies with distinct 3-step removal procedure to discourage toddlers (egress version only) . Window guards should only be opened in case of an emergency, or if conducting a test on the release mechanism. Telescoping width is fully adjustable (prior to fastening) ; and is complete with tamper resistant one-way screws to keep window guard firmly attached.
