The HALO HLB Slim Edge LED downlight is a 6 inch ultra-thin canless recessed light designed for use in new construction remodel and retrofit installation without the use of a recessed housing. The downlight is just 1/2 inch thick and is perfect for tight plenum spaces and saves you time and money on installation. The light can be used in direct contact with insulation and is airtight reducing airflow between unconditioned and conditioned spaces and meeting restricted air flow requirements. This product installs into a standard hole saw size cutout and is retained securely in place with springs. The driver box installs through a cutout and can be positioned remotely from the fixture fitting. The keyhole slots facilitate attachment to the building structure. The HLBPH direct mount downlight features a round non-conductive polymer trim and smooth lens and dims to 5% with compatible phase cut dimmers. With the flick of a switch located on the driver junction box users can choose between 5 color temperatures
