The hardest part is to remove the original ones after you have the water heater emptied and turned off the breaker. Make sure to put the seal which comes with it and tight the resistor snug. Don't forget to fill up the tank FIRST, then check for leaks and LASTLY turn on the breaker on otherwise you may end up with a burned resistor.
