When the nozzle turns on, because the water pressure suddenly changes inside the hose, there is a little shrinkage of the hose, which is normal. 2. The hose will work very well with sufficient water pressure 0.5-0.6 MPa ( 72.5-87 psi), if your water pressure is under this standard it may effect the full expansion of the hose. 3. Some functions of the nozzle request more water pressure to support the operation, they are FULL, SHOWER, CONE and SOAKER, when you use these functions, the hose may experience some shrinkage since the water pressure suddenly changes inside the hose. This shrinkage can be avoided if the water pressure is sufficient but in some cases of slightly lower water pressure, the full extension of the hose may be affected. If this occurs, there is little can be done as the hose requires at least 0.5 MPa to function at optimal length. 4. We offer spare washers with the hose, if there is leak from the connection, please put in one more washer to test again. THE WAY TO PROLONG LIFETIME: 1. Limit the water flow if your water pressure is higher than normal to avoid hose damage 2. Completely drain water from hose when not in use. Store the hose in shade or under a cover. 3. Do not walk on the pressurized hose, use caution so it does not get snagged or caught on sharp objects, lay it out straight toward the area that you wish to water. 4. The outer webbing protects the inner- expandable hose. Please ensure the outer webbing is not cut, torn or punctured.
