Warm Tips •Recommend use 3M Primer (not included in the package) for best capabilities of the adhesive. •The keel guard should be mounted at least 4-6 inches above the waterline. •Please do not lean against anything such as v-blocks, bunks, rollers, or bow stops for best adhesion of 3M adhesive. •Please install the boat keel protector on good surface of the boat which doens't have poorly bonded paint, gel coat or boat bottom paint and uneven surface. •Please keep keel guard and boat hull at the same temperature during application, recommended applying the adhesive when the hull temperature between 65°F to 100°F.
