The auto-dimming, backlit LCD color display features an indoor temperature thermometer, trend arrows, and daily highs and lows for temperature and humidity. Similar to an atomic clock weather station, AcuRite Intelli-Time technology makes it easy to always know the date and time without adjusting for daylight saving time. This weather clock’s Intelli-Time technology also saves your time in case of a power outage. The home weather station features self-calibrating technology to provide your personal weather forecast 12 hours from your current conditions. The digital outdoor thermometer sensor is powered by two (2) AA alkaline or lithium batteries (not included). The temperature gauge indoor display uses an included AC adapter and can use 3 AA batteries (not included) for optional battery backup.
